About the artist
Nadine Feindura
Often finding myself fascinated by someones face, a situation, a certain light or atmosphere, I have the strong urge to capture this. My drive is to capture beauty in all its forms, and to move people with it: make them happy, relaxed, get pleasantly melancholic, … Feel good.
In my work you might find the occasional twinkle. But hints, critic, despair – as important as it is as well – is simply not my calling to portrait.
Therefore I focus on the good stuff. Light.
My lifelong passion for colors and design means I’m creatively or craftily engaged daily, often staying up nights pondering ideas. Inspiration comes from everything the world offers: nature, cultures across the globe, history, people, and other artists’ work.
My dedication to art and craftsmanship, combined with a meticulous and persistent approach, forms the perfect foundation to bring beauty and quality to people through art.
After 18 years as an executive in a large industrial corporation, I decided to give space to my true passion and calling by dedicating myself entirely to Art. Accidentally discovering glass, I became fascinated and started an apprenticeship with a master of this craft to absorb as much knowledge and skill as possible. Learning never stops, so each new piece brings new insights.
I also rediscovered painting after a long break, and since then, the inspiration has been unstoppable. I paint daily whenever possible and have fallen in love with portrait painting.
